This holiday season may you....
give a gift of yourself
mend a quarrel
seek out a forgotten friend
share some treasure
give a soft answer
encourage youth
keep a promise
find the time
listen...
laugh a little,
laugh a little more...
express your gratitude
welcome a stranger
gladden the heart of a child
take pleasure in the beauty &
wonder of the earth

speak your love...
speak it again...
speak it still once again
and let your heart be filled with holiday joy.

(excerpts from Day by Day with Charles Swindoll)

Be silent and listen to the voice of God.

Pause from a hectic schedule to be refreshed in spirit.

Accentuate the joy of God’s provision
through thanksgiving.

End the day by reflecting on the Lord’s faithfulness.

Wishing all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!
May you be surrounded by family &
friends to warm your heart.

  8. Sweet Rett~ I'm strolling in to catch up and especially to wish you and your loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving!
It's such a wonderful time to stop and reflect on all those we cherish and are truly grateful for.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to visit and leave feeling inspired!

Even though our Thanksgiving is very small in number, with hubby and son (we don't count the cat cause she doesn't like turkey). We don't scrimp on the menu...from appetizers to desserts with several carb loaded dishes in between! We will be enjoying tryptophan playoffs too!

    Sweet Holiday wishes,
    Sara

  14. Thank you so much for the blog advice. I would never dream someone would use that information to do something bad, but you're right...we live in a world where we have to be cautious. I'm going back to all my previous posts to make sure there is nothing with too much information. I have the blog for fun but it is also a way for my husband's family to be updated on our adventures during Megan's, our youngest, senior year. Thank you again for the advice...Please come back and let me know if you see anything else that needs changing. By the way, hope you enjoy the soup! Anita
