Bargains for Nifty Thrifty Tues. & Tabletop Tues.

I'm joining Marty at

A Stroll Thru Life

for her

Tabletop Tuesday

Be sure to visit all the participants
for some great inspiration!

I found some nice pieces at T.J. Maxx to go in my kitchen.

The rooster plates were originally $8.00 but I got them for $3.00.

Woo-Hoo... I do love a bargain!

They make great chargers for my everyday dishes

or I can use them as platters for serving.

Now I'm kicking myself for not getting more!

I went back today & they're all gone.

These cute little covered casseroles were also on sale.

Of course, I foolishly only bought 2 of them,

thinking that I wouldn't be serving company in the kitchen.

They were all gone today, too.

The cute little plate holder below was not on sale but was only $10.00.

Using real plates cuts down on paper products going into our landfills.

I was lucky enough to find a second set today

so now I have enough appetizer plates for 12.

I almost forgot about the faux lemons...

I found them at Big Lots for $7.50!

It was a good day of bargain shopping

& I have had fun trying my new found

treasures in pretty settings.

Please visit Marty & Linda to see some more pretties!

Thanks for stopping by the Gazebo House &

letting me share my fun finds with you.

fondly,

Sometimes I don't buy enough of of good deal...and kick myself...I'm learning though to go ahead and get more...I can always give away as gifts if I don't really use them. Glad you got the 12 appetizer plates! All those soft buttery yellow colors are so beautiful and make such a great table!

Great bargains and great finds!!!!I love to see a real meal set out for a real family!!!Makes the table looks so much better and real looking instead of it being staged!!!!Like it's trying to sell a kitchen table!!!!

  11. Rett, I think you could make anything pretty! But these pieces are lovely. I am so fond of that beautiful butter color! Your tabletop would fit perfectly in almost any room in my home.

I often would find a treasure and think I'll think about it and go back. And when I did it would be gone, and I would be disapointed.

Now I put it in my cart and "edit" before I check out. If I get buyers remorse, I can return it.

I'm going to be looking for a large jar and fill it with lemons for the summer. I love that sunny look!

  14. Rett, what a beautiful yellow display. One of my new favorite colors. I did not use to be fond of yellow, but now have added it in a lot of different rooms. You scored some great deals. I have seen those dishes and you know you have to grab them when you see them at TJ or they will be gone. I have learned that the hard way, too. Maybe you will find some more. Thanks for the gracious comment on my sister's kitchen and my house.

  28. No way! Love those plates! I have been on the lookout for some rooster plates, but don't get to TJMaxx often. LOVE the placemats and napkins especially! We also always use real plates, cloth napkins, real glassware because it really does make a difference. Also, no plastic water bottles, but we recycle everything anyway. Love all your great finds!!
