9/11 and the victims and heros have been on my mind all week. God bless them all! Thanks for this beautiful tribute, Rett. Especially the cross... so many are trying to shove God out of the 911 memorial service! What are they thinking? I remember that during that week God and His presence and provision were a sustaining factor... and He still is! xo Yvonne
May we remember every day. May we especially remember this weekend as we mark ten years. Can it really be that long. I remember it like it was yesterday.
This is got to be the saddest weekend of this year, I'm really very, very sad for all the families and to remember what happened 10 years ago to the USA and as a Newyorker, I'm SPECIALLY VERY BLUE. God bless the families of the 9-11 heroes and God bless America and save her from happening again. FABBY
I pray that this tribute of 10 years will pass without incident. For some reason, I'm fearful this year unlike any in the past since THAT DAY. God bless the USA!
I agree with Yvonne. It is faith that got us through. We lost several friends, and their families all asked for prayers. It must have been important then, and it still is. May God bless them, their loved ones, the children who will never know them, and America. And those who are serving to protect us too!
Hi, Rett. I'm so glad you had the opportunity to watch the OSU tribute...it was an honor to witness that. A very sad day. Your tribute is simple yet evocative. Thank you.
I'm a critical care RN & was married 28 yrs to a warm & funny family practice physician, who passed away 2-7-15. I wish we had found each other sooner, so we could have loved each other longer.
I have 1 daughter & am called "Nana Rett" by her 3 children, my 2 grandsons & 1 delightful granddaughter. (Hubby had 12 grands & 3 great-grands, too)
I enjoy sewing, quilting, smocking & embroidering clothing for them along with playing tennis for exercise and do throw an occasional dinner party just to keep my cooking skills from getting too rusty!
I hope your creativity will be nurtured here.
