Yes, I finally made a decision to
purchase the Nikon D90,
mostly because dear husband had
Nikon lenses that I could borrow.
I need to take some classes & learn
how to use it in manual mode.
These shots were all done in auto.
This nest is UNDER the Gazebo.
Look what flew OVER the Gazebo!
It was a beautiful weekend
to be outside.
Please visit Mary at The Little Red House
for Mosaic Monday.
Thanks for stopping by.
fondly,
Awesome pics! I love your new camera!!! I have a Nikon D40 and love mine, too. :-)
ReplyDeleteYay Crocus...spring is really almost here! :-)
Well, I am so glad I got to visit on the porch with you. It has been horribly dreary here today and yesterday and visiting your lovely spot has just perked my mood. That camera took some incredible pictures on auto!
ReplyDeleteLove your mosaic at the top and that picture of the crocus is so crisp and sharp! We had beyond beautiful weather here on Friday and Saturday. Today was rainy, but made the perfect day to watch movies with the family! I love the pillowcase dress in the top! My MIL learned how to make them for my daughter and I love them!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures I need a new camera also.
ReplyDeleteFantastic Mosaic! Your new camera took great pictures!
ReplyDeleteYour crocus mosaic is nice; we have some in bloom on the south side of our house.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new camera.
Wow-I'd say that new camera works! The crocus picture looks real enough to touch. I can't wait to see what pictures you take next.

The camera can really make a difference. I love the bird nest!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood for you with the new camera! I cling to my little fit-in-my-palm camera, but admire the quality of the photos possible with a big-girl version!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a beautful day where you are.
Beautiful Spring flowers, lovely mosaics.
ReplyDeleteDarryl and Ruth : )

ReplyDeleteGreat camera, I chose a canon, because that is the only brand I have ever owned!!!!I use mostly auto, I venture to other modes on auto, but rarely manual, although I practice on it!!!
I had the great priviledge of riding on the Goodyear blimp, in 08, it was amazing!!!! SO fun!!!! The landing was so scary though!!! A post one day!!!haha

slow week, but busy weekend next Sat. our AZ blogger tea at 1:30, but I have a Brunch to go to that morning, and our Neighborhood BIG block party is next Sat. night!!!!

jamie
your story about the bougnavilla blooms were so funny!!!!!
they are pretty, but sure do blow all over the place!!!
Have fun with your new camera and some days I feel like the good year blimp when I eat too much:)

Lovin' the shots! I have a Canon and took a class . . . it was great. Now I know how to shoot manual and what all those buttons mean. But sometimes I lose patience because I have to THINK about how to shoot the shot and then I lose it and UGH . . . but! practice makes perfect!
ReplyDeleteGood girl! Have fun! Karen
Thanks for stopping by. I hope the lady's miniatures ended up with someone who appreciates them. I went to an estate sale a while back, and one of the bedrooms was completely filled with doll houses, building & vignettes. They had everything priced high. I put in a bid for one of the houses completely furnished, but did not get it. I don't have room for it anyway. :)
ReplyDeleteOver, under, all around fun! Have fun with your new camera. I just got a new camera, too -- another Nikon (for the same reason. . . interchangeable lenses).
ReplyDeleteYay! you have crocus. We have snow but it is melting. Wish I could sit on the porch and visit with you. You camera takes wonderful pictures. Looks like you are having fun with it.
ReplyDeleteGreat mosaics and great photos with your new camera.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to get a new camera - and an adventure trying all the new settings. Oh, the places you'll go and the things you'll see!
ReplyDeleteAmanda
