Kentucky bourbon is only distilled once

Slainte' Rett! I won the glasses too! Mike puts Jameson's and Kahlua in his, and a lot of whipped cream.
ReplyDeleteI just have regular coffee with lots of whipped cream, lol..good calcium.
Do you remember when Jameson's used to have a poetry contest every year in March? I entered a few times, never won any money, just certificates saying I was a fine Irish poet, LOL..I could line the bird cage with that bit of blarney!
I never thought of the green cherry!
Rett, I'm so happy for you that you won the glasses! YEA! :-)
ReplyDeleteThis really looks good. I didn't know that about whiskey versus bourbon versus Scotch. Sounds like the Irish whiskey is definitely the best!
Sending you lots of green hugs for a Happy FF...
XO,
Sheila :-)
I haven't had an Irish Coffee in far too long. Time to remedy that this week ;)
ReplyDeleteRett- I am making Irish coffee for some dinner guest next week. I'll have to go out and get some real Irish whiskey.
ReplyDeleteSounds so good to me. Love your coffee set!

ReplyDeleteGreen cherry? What a cute touch!
Rett, first, congratulations on winning those wonderful glasses. They are perfect for these drinks. Like your husband, I love a good Irish coffee in the winter. I made myself several this past winter. Such a perfect drink! But you have to add lots of whipped cream to make it special. Which of course I did. LOL
