The tables & chairs have been set with the theme.

All that is missing is hearing you scream!

Rollo Pretzel Treats:

Spread out square pretzels in a single layer on cookie sheet.

Top each with an unwrapped Rollo caramel-chocolate candy.

Bake in 200° oven just until candy begins to soften.

Remove from oven & immediately top with either a nut

or another square pretzel.

Allow to cool.....if you can stand the wait!

My favorite way to eat pumpkin:

No Bake Double Layer Pumpkin Pie

(Kraft photo...I haven't made mine yet!)

1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1 cup plus 1 Tbsp. milk, divided

1 Tbsp. sugar

1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

1 HONEY MAID Graham Pie Crust (6 oz.)

1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin

2 pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp. ground ginger

1/4 tsp. ground cloves

BEAT cream cheese, 1 Tbsp. milk and sugar in large bowl with whisk until blended.

Stir in half the COOL WHIP. Spread into crust.

WHISK remaining milk, pumpkin, pudding mixes and spices 2 min. (Mixture will be thick.)

Spread over cream cheese layer.

REFRIGERATE 4 hours or until set.

Top with remaining COOL WHIP just before serving.

I am also joining Marty for Tabletop Tuesday and Susan for Tablescape Thursday along with Michael Lee for Foodie Friday.

  6. Rett, You have created the perfect poem and picture party! Your runner is so cute and I love that magic ball. Wherever did it come from? The carrot fingers are always a delight to see, as are the mummy dogs. The spider eggs are new, though. Are those olives? Still sending good thoughts....

  16. Rett, There's a lot to love in this post! From the food, to the table runner, to the witch quilt, to the witch's shoes, to the poetry, to the photos of pumpkins in front of the church - what a neat post! Your pie recipe is a keeper and I definitely will be trying it. Thanks for participating in the Pumpkin Party.

  17. Love it all here, where to begin! First off, the witch boots are just so cute, as well as that colorful crystal ball. I also really love the runner you made and your wonderful tablescape! Then as if that wasn't enough to love, you have the most adorable food ever too, especially the spider eggs and even topped it all off with a fantastic poem! OMG! LOL!

As for my blog, I just changed it out last night so I could change out my backgrounds with the seasons. I am now using the "Awesome Inc." designer template by blogger. I had to play with the width adjustments on the layout to get it not to overlap. What a pain! But I think I got it where I can want it for now! :))

    You're such a great host.

    And your rhyme, your rhyme,
just made it the best time!

    The witches with bling
    are really my thing,

    Oh, the carrot, the carrot(s)
    I could hardly bear it.

    Eggs, topped with a fly
Oh, I thought I would die!

But the thing I loved most
was the start of the post.

    The purple witch shoes
Oh, I can't help but ooze!

    Loved it all,
    Happy Halloween
