I've finally remembered to take my good camera with me
& have been able to capture some beautiful shots of autumn in Ohio.
Maple trees
I captured these leaves especially for my baby sis in AZ.
Years ago we collected them & ironed them between waxed paper
& mailed them to AZ so she could have a touch of fall.
They have had some recent health issues that
have us all worried.
If you're so inclined, I sure would appreciate it if you could
send up a *knee-mail* for them, both.
We strongly believe in the Power of Prayer!
I took some shots at a local restaurant above &
a local greenhouse below.
At my favorite grocery store, too!
For now, I'm drinking in every drop of color &
trying to fully appreciate each day the Lord gives us!
Thanks for joining me in the Gazebo House.
fondly,
Rett
What pretty photos you've taken! Have a wonderful weekend, and enjoy the beauty. Sandi
ReplyDeleteHi Rhett! Fabulous photos! I needed to see a little fall color..still so hot and dry here! I will keep your sis and her family in my prayers. Happy weekend!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteRett, Your camera captured the best of fall. I just love the color of a maple tree. It is my favorite fall color. Don't you love how that tree still has summer color on it too?
ReplyDeleteI am putting together a blog prayer journal, I just prayed for your sister.
As usua, a wonderful visit!
Yvonne
Beautiful shots of Fall! I love this time of the year.
ReplyDeletePrayers for your sis's family!!!
I should send my daughter in AZ some Fall leaves.
The two in the NE could have sent them to me!!!!
Rett, You have the same love for fall that I do! It is the only time of the year that I like here in Ohio. Gee, am I wishing I was still back in NM or what!? LOL I love the colors we're starting to see down here. Although, many of the leaves have already fallen, even though they didn't even change color. Oh that hot dry summer sure wreaked havoc on our trees, didn't it? Will keep your family in my thoughts...
ReplyDelete~ Sue
You do have some exceptional colors. Most of our leaves die before they get really colorful. Only a few types of trees really look fallish.
ReplyDeletePrayers for your sis's family.
What gorgeous colour! We mostly get golds and browns here, and I do miss the reds of the eastern provinces.
ReplyDeleteKnee-mail - love it!...and yes, 'Rett's sister and family' are on my prayer list.
Rett,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Carol
Great photography, Rett. You really capture the season.
ReplyDeleteWe woke up to snow and everything coated in white this morning! Its gone now, hopefully for a while. I hate to see the colors of fall leave and get replaced by all the grey. The cycle of life.....
Oh wow Rett, your pics of the fall color are just unreal. Since I live in Az. also, I needed some of that. Beautiful pictures. I will definitely say a prayer. God Bless. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteHoly cow honey, you are turning into a regular nature photographer! Those shots are gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color. We don't get any thing like that here in TX. Thanks for sharing your fall color with all of us. I'll definitely keep your sister and family in my thoughts and prayers. ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteYou've captured some beautiful colors here, Rett! Your pictures are stunning. The leaves aren't nearly as changed here!
ReplyDeleteSending many prayers to your sister and her family.
XO,
Janie
Ok Rett, I need the scoop on your new camera. You always took good pictures before but these are "magazine-worthy". Beautiful! Send me an email with what type of camera you have now if you have time.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I think I would enjoy grocery-shopping a whole lot more if I had a cute store like that to shop in! :)
So beautiful! I miss fall! We don't get a lot of it here and when we do it is around Thanksgiving! Fall is my favorite and was absolute perfection when we lived in Michigan! I am living vicariously through everyone's beautiful shots! Thanks for sharing for all of us who are still going to the beach!
ReplyDeletePraying for your sister!
Rett, this is just SO pretty! Thank you for sharing fall with us today.
ReplyDeleteI have just said a prayer for your sister and her husband. I pray in Jesus name that all will be well with them and with you and all of your family.
Warm hugs...
XO,
Sheila :-)
Very pretty shots. Love the color.
ReplyDeleteDarryl and Ruth : )
Such gorgeous fall color, Rett! We are behind you with our warmer weather, it will be a couple more weeks for us if the leaves don't fall off before they change with our dry weather! Knee-mail for your sister & family from me~
ReplyDeleteFabulous images!
ReplyDeleteFabulous and vibrant fall colours.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors...those burning bushes are amazing!
ReplyDeleteHave just asked the Lord to protect your little sister and her family. How sweet of you to request prayer on their behalf.
Loved the burning bush, and of course mums photograph so well. That garden center looks so good!

ReplyDeleteHi Rett, Beautiful fall color shots, the reds are so bright. I will keep your sister in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeletep.s. I have not forgotten your Pumpkin Pattern, hope to get it this week. Take care.
Gorgeous colours. I love the photos with insets. Must remember that. It adds emphasis.
ReplyDeleteThat first photo is a show-stopper! What great shots you took with that camera. How sweet of you to send some leaves to your sister. Does she want a few bushels more? LOL.
ReplyDeleteI'm sending up a 'knee-mail' right now!
Beautiful photos Rhett! Our NYC trees are just beginning to turn so we have a bit of autumn left here, but I know the cold north wind will soon be blowing!
ReplyDeleteI also have a sister in AZ! Sending up prayers for yours and her family that all will be well.
♥ Pat
