I'm so glad to hear that he is doing well. I'm sure it will wear him out more than he realizes, but it will be worth it. I hope you both have a wonderful 2010. I know you are already counting your blessings.
Rett, what a blessing that your husband is feeling better and on his way to great health. I hope you have a very Blessed and Happy New Year. Hugs, Marty
Rett, wonderful feeling that your husband is getting well and able to enjoy getting out. Have a beautiful day together! You have brought joy into my life with The Gazebo House. I always learn from you and leave feeling inspired! Thank you for your dear friendship, Rett. I wish you and your family all the best for 2010. New Year's Day Hugs ~ Sarah
I want to know if you went out for breakfast before, or after you took down your decorations? Mine are all down and put away.....but now I'm thinking we should have gone out for breakfast first. LOL Hope you enjoyed yours! Blessings to both of you in 2010!! And prayers for continuing better health for Ernie!!
We went to eat BEFORE the un-decorating started, Carol. I'm pooped & I haven't even started the tree yet! Groan! This is going to take longer than I thought.
Hi, Rett... dropping by to wish you a very Happy New Year! May your heart be filled with blessings overflowing. May your year be filled with all the joy your heart can hold. May sunshine fill your days and the Lord's love fill your every moment, waking or sleeping.
HI!!! Ohio won!!!! My neighbors are from OHIO, so of course they had a big party there today!!!!!Ohio always wins!!!!! So glad you two could share a fun breakfast out!!!! Yeah for that!!! Happy New Year!!! hugs, jamie
Rett~ Happy to see you're off to a healthy new year. I know, I look forward to the outings I can take with my hubby. I don't get out much...but when we do...dining is the first trip on my list with a little shopping too. I hope you two enjoy your time out.
I'm a critical care RN & was married 28 yrs to a warm & funny family practice physician, who passed away 2-7-15. I wish we had found each other sooner, so we could have loved each other longer.
I have 1 daughter & am called "Nana Rett" by her 3 children, my 2 grandsons & 1 delightful granddaughter. (Hubby had 12 grands & 3 great-grands, too)
I enjoy sewing, quilting, smocking & embroidering clothing for them along with playing tennis for exercise and do throw an occasional dinner party just to keep my cooking skills from getting too rusty!
I hope your creativity will be nurtured here.
Rett-I am so happy that your husband is "on the mend"! Breakfast out sounds like a wonderful idea! Happy and healthy 2010 to you!
