Lunch this week, in the Gazebo!
I made this reversible 'quilt as you sew' tablerunner
& then made 4 double sided napkins to match.
I'll tell you all about how I did them in a later post
but for now, they're under some dishes!

The red & white blooming flowers
will be moved outside of the Gazebo
to my French flower cart after people sit down & get settled.
I just wanted it there for the "Wow!" factor upon arrival.

The oval red dish in the background is for tiny
little croissants to go with our lunch.
little croissants to go with our lunch.
BIG bowls are for the salad...its too hot for soup!
Tall "Whitehall" glasses are ready
for either iced tea or lemonade.
Notice how I followed Bill's lead, from Affordable Accoutrements
& place the iced tea spoons at the top of the plate?
I figure it HE can do it, then it must be okay, right!! *wink*
Did you spot my test treat???
I had to make sure these little pies would fit into my ♥ shaped dishes.
They are made by Chudleighs & they are DELICIOUS!
Seen here is the cherry blossom, but it is currently unavailable.
(thank goodness I have several left in the freezer!)
I bought some of their apple caramel blossoms, too.
They are so little, they are only about 4 bites of
a very tasty treat at the end of a meal.
Just PERFECT for a nice little bit of sweetness!

They only take 20 mins. in a 200ยบ oven
(or less than 1 min. in the microwave) &
they are ready for a dollop of ice cream on top.
If you would like to help me see
that the cherry ones are brought back,
please call Chudleighs at
1 (800) 387-4028 & tell them so?!
Thanks for stopping by the Gazebo House.
I wish I could pass out a little pie to each of you!!
It's time for another Tablescape Thursday with our gracious hostess,
Susan of Between Naps on the Porch
Be sure to stop by her beautiful blog to see other participants in the party!
Thank you, Susan for hosting this fun event each week.
I'm also joining, for the first time, Sue from
Its A Very Cherry World
for her Rednesday Meme
just because my table linens fit the theme so well. :-)

Rett, Your sewing skills have once again resulted in a darling table setting. That is such sweet fabric and it accents the white dinnerware so very well. Love that gorgeous floral arrangement. Rett, glad to help. I think that at some point, I'm going to do a little post on 'peg nappies.' I receive a number of questions about them. BTW, there are no dumb questions! Back in the day, as an English teacher, I used to encourage my students to think of school as 'a mistake clinic.' School is the place that we go where it's okay to make mistakes because that's the way we learn how to 'do it correctly.' Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteis sure makes up a darling table!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful table. The napkins and table runner are too cute! I just brought some Mary Engelbriet fabric. Can't wait to make something cute too. I love your blog!
