Ms. C's Favorite Tea Cup

The peonies & iris have all bloomed for this year.
I cut as many as I could before the rains came again.

When my granddaughter, Ms. C, comes to visit,
I always allow her to pick which tea cup she would like to use.

This flower petal shaped one is always her favorite!
It had an FTD floral arrangement in it at one time.

The dainty Towel spoon with a crown is one of a set of 4.
I wish I had bought more!

My daughter gave me this gorgeous "Black Tie" Bath & Body Works candle.
It has the most lovely floral scent & elegant silver cover!

Ms. C. prefers sugar cubes in her tea
while I use artificial sweeteners, Stevia being the current favorite.

Her choice of tea is usually Lady Grey...mine too!

The teapot I'm using today is shaped like a bird house.
It was made by Adams Antiques in Steubenville, OH,
which is less than 2 hours south of where I live now.

If you look closely, you can see another little
blue bird inside the teapot.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit & allowing me to share my teacup collection!
I have lots more to come!

fondly,

  1. What a beautiful tea time, Rett 💐. Ms C’s choice of teacup is so pretty, and the birdhouse teapot is such a unique one. I haven’t even see the Black Tie candle from Bath and Body, but it sounds lovely. Your bouquet is so vibrant and makes for a gorgeous centerpiece for your tray. 💕

    1. Thank you so much, Kitty! Your tea parties with Ella have inspired me to do more with my collection.
I don't dare make all the wonderful goodies you make, though. No one else to eat them but me so no recipes to share on this post.
I do have a low cal oatmeal/banana nibble that I'll try to show next time.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit! ♥

  3. Ms C has good taste in teacups. That flower shaped one is unique and pretty. What a lovely bouquet of peonies and irises. Flowers come and go so quickly, don't they?

    1. I agree, Lorrie...the Spring flowers are gone too soon!! They are always such a welcome sight after a long, cold WHITE winter. I need the color in my world.
I must work on getting more perennials that will bloom all year long. I captured some photos of my pink & yellow roses recently. They are a source of happiness all summer...that is, if the deer will leave them alone!
Thanks for stopping by for a visit. I'll be over to your *place* shortly.
