Happy New Year!

Wishing you much happiness & more importantly,
GOOD HEALTH in the coming year!

(if you don't have good health, then you don't have much happiness, either)

Dr. Gazebo House has been very sick & in bed with a horrible cold this past week.
He's high maintenance on a good day, but when he's sick....sheesh!
Lets just say my time is not my own.
Doctors make the WORST patients...he says *nurses* are even worse.
However, I am very grateful to still have him around for another holiday.
He makes me laugh, even when he's sick!

I'm working on posting a healthy, veggie salad recipe as well as
a not-so-healthy but very DELICIOUS soup &
a snowman table for the grandkids on Sunday.

I thank you for stopping by The Gazebo House &
I promise I will get back to posting &
returning your visits just as soon as the doc is well.

(praying that I don't catch it next!!!)

  11. Wishing Dr. Gazebo House a speedy recovery, and you some rest from nursing duties. Colds were an unwelcomed guest at many homes this season.
May 2011 bring you and yours many blessings.

  12. Oh, Rett... I sympathize not only with you but with Dr. GH. I have been sick for weeks and can't shake it. This is a nasty virus. Now, Mr. Magpie is feeling worse for the wear. So I feel your pain!

On the flip side, I wish you a very Happy New Year filled with love and blessings... and good health!

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  13. So glad you had a minute to post Rett, I've been wondering what you were up to. Sorry to hear it wasn't a trip to some place warm but at least Dr. Gazebo had you there to help "nurse" him back to a healthy 2011. Take care and thanks so much for sharing your home and family in 2010 with us.

PS...I went and looks at new "machines" yesterday at the sewing center. They were on sale but....

  22. Hoping your DH recovers quickly and that you do not catch it! Been battling a chest cold for three weeks - and I know if I just stayed put and took the time to recover I would be done with it! BUT...have you ever seen a woman let a little cold keep them down!!
Only the BEST for you in the New Year..
